The establishment has seen better days. The service was friendly and businesslike at the same time. The Indian food was very good, again the children's food was no more than 1 star

This eatery opened my eyes to the riches of Indian flavors 25 years ago. Countless local curries and many visits to Indian restaurants later I wanted to relive this awakening experience. Memory may have played a trick on me, but the experience in late summer 2020 had absolutely nothing to do with my memory. Masalas without aroma, Tandoory Chicken with no added value to the relevant ready-made paste, Dal, which simply has to be described as bland. As of today, I cannot recommend a visit here, especially not in view of the numerous Berlin gems of Indian, Pakistani and Sri Lankan cuisine. Has the quality declined or is the palate more spoiled? I can't tell for sure, but I should be very surprised if it isn't at least in large part due to the former.

Food is good, unfortunately the service was only there so that you had to wait a long time for everything and after dinner until we got up the plates weren't cleared.

Food was not particularly tasty, no fresh ingredients were used, but unfortunately tropical canned fruits - very disappointing. The service was too slow, not prudent. Cobwebs hung in the corners. Never again!!!

Very good food, much much better than last year! Unfortunately it is very dark in the restaurant, but the kitchen is super good, the service quick and friendly. We were very happy and would love to come back!

(German below) When you first enter you have the feeling: okay. That looks old. But once you passed that and once you ordered you will have a great experience and great delicious Indian food. We had two of the plates. One plate for 2 people as this was a great opportunity to have a lot of different meals to taste from. And I can tell you. The surrounding matches this experience. It was great a we look forward going there again. When we came in there was a strange feeling that it looked old. But as soon as you leave that feeling behind and stand the first plate of Indian food in front of you. It’s just a great experience. There were four of us there and two each, a plate to have a large cross section. Everything just fits. It is delicious, great atmosphere and a successful evening. We look forward to returning there.

We have been a regular guest at the Taj Mahal Neuenhagen for more than 25 years. We are always served very friendly, Ms. Kaur has our preferences in mind and takes special requests into account when ordering. Service is fast, in summer also outside. The food is very tasty. Since we have worked in India for a long time, it reminds us of restaurant visits there. We always like to come back to the Taj Mahal. Thanks a lot!

Very good food, the ambience is outdated but still worth a visit. You will always find a free table so go for spontaneous food very well. The staff is very friendly.

I can only complain about the interior, which must come from the previous owner and does not look like a cozy Indian restaurant. The food was delicious, nicely served, Bhatura's too.

Nice Indian food. The food is very good and quite reasonable price. If you are thinking to have good Indian tatse food. Please visit the place. You will never regret to the place. If love spicy food please specify upfront or else you might be disappointed. This place have taste of some Punjabi food as well. Go for it enjoy your meal.
